Delete your HZen account

This page explains how to request deletion of your HZen account and the data associated with it.
Deletion is available in the HZen mobile app and on the web. It is immediate and irreversible.
Subscriptions: Deleting your HZen account does
not cancel a Google Play or App Store subscription.
If you pay through a store, cancel billing in that store’s subscription settings first, or you may continue to be charged.

How to delete in the app
On mobile (iOS / Android)
- Open HZen and sign in with Google.
- Go to Profile → Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete my account and confirm.
On the web
- Open hzenai.com/app and sign in with Google.
- Go to Profile → Delete account.
- Confirm deletion.
If you cannot open the app
Email app@hzenai.com from the same Google account you used to create your HZen account,
and ask us to delete your account and associated data. We will process the request within a reasonable time
(typically within 30 days).
What is deleted
When your account is deleted, we remove from our systems:
- Your profile and authentication account (including email and user ID)
- Friend connections, friend requests, and blocks
- Direct messages
- Journals and related personal wellness content tied to your account
- Face-verification photos (if any)
- Pending reports you filed, and your leaderboard entry
- Other account-linked settings and onboarding data stored against your user ID
What is kept

Community Circle posts you authored are anonymized: the text may remain so conversation threads stay readable,
but your display name is replaced with [deleted user].

Limited operational records that we must retain for security, abuse prevention, or legal compliance
(for example, billing references needed to stop future charges) may be kept in a form that is not used to identify you in the product.
Partial data deletion
HZen does not offer a separate web flow to delete only some of your data while keeping the account.
To remove your personal data from HZen, delete your account using the steps above.
You can export a copy of your data from Account settings before deleting, if you wish.
